What are our homeownership counseling services?
Housing Assistance Corporation employs two certified Housing Counselors who work with households to achieve their dream of homeownership.
Counseling services are offered free of charge for low-income households and are private and confidential. All consultations are one-on-one and based on your specific circumstances.
Our homeownership counseling services provide one-on-one counseling to develop individualized homeownership plans. Some may need as few as a couple of sessions, while others may need several years of counseling. As long as a household is willing, the counselor will continue to provide support.
Our housing counselors are certified through the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NCHEC).
