“One of my New Year’s resolutions is to step outside my comfort zone to learn new things and make new friends. On Saturday January 10, a friend and I joined the Women Roofers in Rutherford County on a roof. These women have been volunteering together since 2002 to care for their neighbors by roofing their homes. The day started cold but we got into a rhythm soon enough, and enjoyed working together to accomplish our goal.”
